A grid of Boxes - but I want to delete the top and bottom of every one?

Hi! 

I've got a grid of 400 centre-boxes at different heights above a surface and different sizes. 

What I would like to do is delete every top and bottom surface of the boxes - leaving me with just the sides. I would then like to give them a standard thickness. 

Any idea how to do this? 

FULL DISCLOSURE: I have botched this together from about 3 different sources, probably off this forum.

Hi!

Very helpful, thankyou! I'm actually trying to get it so the boxes have the same depthxwidthxheight - so I shall have a play.
