algorithmic modeling for Rhino
As far as I recall only the Point List component draws dashes lines between points. Perhaps it is one of those? The difference between PointList dashed lines is that they are dashed in screen-space, they always look the same no matter how far away you are. The component which creates dashed curves however uses specific lengths for the dashes and gaps.

I placed an Eval Curve, then I removed it and now remained this :-(
I'm out of ideas then. Does the problem persist if you restart Rhino?

do you have edit points turned on for some geometry inside rhino? The Grasshopper curve preview turns dashed when an object in rhino has its control points turned on...
Hi guys, I restarted Rhino some times yesterday ... but problem persist. Today, I switched on my Windows XP and works fine. Thank U for your reply!! ;-)
I know this is an old discussion but edit points was the problem for me. Thanks Andrew.
It happened also to me sometimes when I place the 'point list' component on the canvas ...
Hi Andrea,
I think that might be the problem. From what little I know about OpenGL, it's possible to assign a property to the device (say, dashed lines) and then unless you forget to unset that property everything will be drawn dashed from then on.
I can repeat the problem with a PointList and temporary preview geometry:
However then the actual rectangles will be fine. So it seems like this might be an OGL state problem. I'll talk to Steve to see if the problem is with me or RhinoCommon.

David,
Just checking if you had an update on this bug? I am also experiencing the same issue with the PointList component making curves become dashed in the the preview. When I delete the PointList component, the curves come back to normal.
Thanks,
Andrew
i had a similar problem. selected the geometries in rhino and entered the PointsOff command
