algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hexagonal Surface

Hello,

I am working on building a surface of hexagon shapes with varying apertures and thicknesses.  I would also like to pull/push the center points of the hexagons so some of the center points are extended out and others are pushed in (inverted).  Any ideas of how to go about this is appreciated!  

My definition and rhino file are attached.

jitter list and split list into (list length/2)
