Hi Christian,

good suggestion. I've made a quick update to the capture view component, so that it allows to create custom naming, without numbering at the end or your own numbering.

Attached is the script with the modified component version 0.97. It will be part of the next update of FabTools, but you can use the component from the attached script and copy it to any other script in the meantime.

The component looks up the filename and checks if a file with the name already exists. If it exits, the numbering (like the current component) will be added, if not the chosen name is the actual filename of the captured image.

Thank you a 100 times. The naming works perfect now.

I think yours is the only "capture component" that can output transparent background (at least as far as i know) which makes life much easier for animation. congrats for hacking that! 

only minor thing which i encounter (at least on my pc) that the files don't go in the specifiey folder but in the folder one level higher in the structure. please see the attached screenshot.

thank you...this is indeed a bug. Here another update of the component (Version 0.97.2). You can use this one until the next update of FabTools.
