algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
Im sorry for the basic problem, but im a beginner on grasshopper and i can't fix it...
I have a triangle with three sides (no surprise) and i would like to create a triangular grid with several points on every lines.
My problem is that i can't join the lasts two lines together because the order is wrong. I tried to reverse list but it doesn't work..
The goal is to make a structure with same sizes triangular gaps on every faces of my geometry.
Help me please!
Thanks

Hi Kim,
Yes! Thanks a lot!
Now i have this prismatic grid here attached and i would like to do a structure with regulated thickness (no pipe). I need to print it in 3D next. Do you know how to do it?
I didn't know weavebird plugin before, it works and it is a less complicated script.
Thanks a lot!
Hi again Kim!
Im sorry to ask you something again, but i would like to do something on my structure like in the video below and the pictures here attached :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4BFlStlGWk
I would like to have some translucent panels (same size as structural triangles) and some solid panels. It must be controlled by attractors if possible, because i need inside spaces to be darker or brighter depending on the location on the facade.
Do you know how to do this?
Thank you so much!
Hi Kim!
Yes, thats almost what i need, but i can't bake it and there is no more adjustable thickness to have a real steel structure with triangulated glass panels and concrete panels.
Thank you very much, you rock!
Try weaverbird "Mesh thicken" component like my previous post.
And don't you really know which one is the final component for your bake geometry?
Well i spoke too soon, it work, no worries ;).
Thanks again!
I have on more question for you if you can answer me.
If we forget the last triangle structure, do you know how to do that kind of pattern on my facade? It must be controlled by attractors to be translucent or solid at specific place.
Thank you.
To me, it doesn't look like parametric design at all. Why do you need GH for such pattern?
You can draw similar pattern if you want.
