algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have here a bunch of circles. They overlap and I would like to trim the parts of each circle that lie within other circles. I have tried using the trim with regions component and it did not work.

Same sane Qs each year, going on two decades. Until Autodesk buys McNeel you are begging low testosterone men for help. That causes further resentment towards vitality, that you question their foundation of purity. These old men are packing it in. Crunchy rock driveways are enough for them.

Kludge I've seen: trim separately by grafting, cutting a surface over and over with each item, leaving bazooka holes, then get borders.

Q: is even one person left @McNeel who fights for you? Did Google scalp them all who care? Rhetorical question.

Please ignore Nik's meaningless whining without offering any help.

If I understand correctly your intent, the "Region Union" component SHOULD be able to handle this, but fails in this particular case. We have to rely on a different method - building a surface around the curve, then using "Surface Split," then finally extracting the curves from the largest resulting piece of the surface split. See attached. Hope this helps!
