Faceted planar surface

Hi all, I'm trying to get clean surfaces created from a series of points I've generated in grasshopper. Maybe there's an easy way I'm missing, but I can't seem to organize the points/subsequent curves into anything usable in which to create a planar surface. To get the example (in the image below) I baked the curves and manually applied the "patch" tool in Rhino - but I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions.
