and how can I move the lines by the same distance instead of juzt scaling them? to create a surface made out of segments of the same width? instead od beinf affected by the proportion of the cells?

Hi.

Why don't you just use "offset"? Check attached.

And when you try to use "Surface Split", you'd be better off flattening curve input.  Best.
