algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
I' from Alias studio and I just switch to Rhino GH.
I'm looking to use a feature like stretch cure from Alias ( see example of the 2nd curve I modify in the video)
Basically what I'm trying to do is stretching my curve and keeping the proportion.
Someone can give advice?

It's just one dimensional scaling isn't it?
That's for stretching subsets of geometry. If you're going to Scale1D something that would be terrible overkill.
That's why I used " ": I.e. Generally speaking for stretching (given the opportunity).
I think that Stratch curve in Alias is also a shear function.
I tried to do a definition that compound 1-D scale with shear to mime that, but....shear in grasshopper is completely different from that one in rhino.
How does it work in grasshopper? I really can't understand it....
Hi
For what I’m working on, my curve will come from an illustrator file so always in 2D.
I think the scale could work but need to be in two directions.
To David Rutten
I try the Shear function, and my cuve do not end on the refernce point.
That is normal?
See attached the Rhino and GH files.
What is StretchSpaceMorph Class? I couldn't find it GH?
Thanks a lot for your help

Get 3 Space Morphs to have some fun (and although the LOL Maelstrom is rather off-topic in this occasion, it's the most freaky). For the test cases load R file first.
BTW: The interesting thing with Stretch ... is ... well ... enable it and observe where the transformation starts.
BTW: For David: is it me or the Following capability is down? (stopped since April 15).
best
Rather use this V1A (Stretch was taken from some internal "tutorials" for my people and modified for this example ... but rather 110% wrongly).
No absolutely no. Never seen this, mind
No idea what's happening.
PS: What .NET build are you using?
Make a test: this does nothing worth the name (just a small tutorial on trees and the likes).
If you can't run it ... well ...
