algorithmic modeling for Rhino
All,
I've been holding back on posting a million questions on here as I'm new to grasshopper. Im an architecture student in Vermont where I'm without a doubt the only person in the school that even knows how to open the program.
What resources are there to learn this language? I'm getting some things done but cannot speak grasshopper fluently enough to tackle what I need when I need to.
So far online tutorials are my only avenue. Thoughts?
Right now I'm working on a facade that responds to solar vectors from Ladybug.
Thanks

So is it fair to assume that most users without access to commercial/educational training are piecing tutorials together to fit the needs of a given project?
I don't think the OLD school way of learning still exists. ..... I'm OLD school!
Today You Tube is my goto source for almost anything I need to become more knowledgeable about. :)
thats exactly what i want! to sit down with the paper format chapter on data trees/flattening/grafting etc...
thankfully i have managed to learn every other program from the "new" school method
I never took any grasshopper training. Just learned from online tutorials and regularly checking the forum and learning from other people's solutions.
Me too!
There are many great, great, people at this forum that provide help!
My personal .mp4 Grasshopper library now spans 14.5GB ...yikes
Mode Lab's Grasshopper Primer may be a good reference for you.

Modelab has a pretty useful downloadable primer.
