Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am trying to rotation mitered boxes into a spiral shape. I have constructed this in Rhino, but I need it in grasshopper so I can easily adjust angles and length. I have the box set up, I just need help creating a way to repeat theses boxes in a spiral fashion (see photo). Can anyone help with this?

Like this?

PS: In order to get the gist of what the first "component" does there's an option available. This orients boxes using the planes made. The bool outputs planes as the GH native component ... therefor the difference is rather obvious.

is it possible to make the extrusions keep their orthogonal shape? I need them to keep a perfectly square section.

Heres and example of what I am talking about.. I cannot have the rectangles twisting in form like this. If you look at the original photo that I posted, you can see that the boxes are mitered and them rotated without manipulating its form.

Appears that you want the trad update: the V2 that is

more soon.

Found a couple of minutes for the V2.

Good news: as you wanted it (including proof).

Bad news: the thing that looks like a component.
