L-System Trees and Rabbit

I am wanting to create a L-system 3d tree structure similar to that done on the Morphocode.com website (see link below), where the tree will be used for structure to hold up a roof. However there is one slight problem, Rabbit does not work on the latest build of Grasshopper.

So...

Has anyone come across a VB/C# scripted L-System 3D Tree similar to the component that is available in Rabbit? This would be most useful as I would then be able to carry on using the latest build of grasshopper. Also, I am quite interested in seeing the VB code for a component like this.

I am trying to create something like the supportive branching structures where the tree is ised as a structure to support a roof.

Thanks for the help I have checked your link out however I have decided just to downgrade for a while and use Rabbit. Hopefully a new release of Rabbit will be out soon as its such a useful plugin.
