algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
Now that receivers don´t exist anymore, I think it´s the time to stick up for the "go to" tool, which has disappeared as well. I know it never worked, let´s say, very well (at least when I used it :-)) but, if it did, I think it would be a very useful tool!
I don´t know wether it is difficult or not to get it back but there´s my suggestion.
Cheers.

Go to? It existed? I don't recall, how did it work?

I think he means find. Neither right click or F3 brings up the Find facility in version .0004
Odd, it wasn't taken out and was used several times in today's workshop without issue. I'll need to look deeper into this but probably won't be able to for a few days to come.

Dany, actually I meant "fine" :-)
As far as I remember, and my memory is not very good so I could be mistaken, in the pop-up window from right-clicking on receiver, you had this functionality "Go to" that changed the view making it go to the component where it took the data from.
The problem was that, at least what I tried, it never worked well and the view didn´t show that component but other location of the canvas further away.
I just wanted to point out that this seemed to me a very interesting tool and it would be a good idea to get it back, although receivers don´t exist anymore.
I hope everything is clearer now.
Cheers!
I stand corrected, and I found the reason why I could not get Find to work as well. So all is well.
