Post some code!  Which component are you using?  Intersections (split, trim) typically return a list of the pieces resulting from the split and you have to choose the one you want.  Sometimes it can be useful to sort the results by area or volume and then choose the first or last 'List Item'.

THANK U  Joseph!!

i just want to use the trim solid component.

and i want the other part of my trim.

sure. it's my problem

so here is my gh file.

thank you ~~

OK, your description isn't very helpful but I'll take a wild guess and assume you want the part of the surface that's inside the box?

well...

my problem is more complicated.

the first thing is i can't use the surface split. because i can't get a closed curve between the two surface that have intersection.

so i want to use the trim solid component. and i don't know the brep split don't succeed .

haha

and i think the trim solid is a good solution to my problem

and i can't get the other side of brep~

thank you Joseph

Hi.

Why don't you use "Split Brep" component?

Explode+Flip+Rejoin won't work because you are not supposed to be able to filp solid object.

You don't need a closed curve for surface split.  I guess I don't understand your problem, this looks trivial to me.
