algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Update:
http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/acoustic-raytracer-buzz-v0-2
I noticed that most of the acoustic ray tracing scripts and plug-ins out there are not working with the current version of Grasshopper. I have put together a new plug-in written in C# based on Rhinocommon/OpenNurbs.
The .zip file includes two components to be added to the Grasshopper components folder, one .3dm file with example opera house geometry, and the grasshopper definition with example inputs. It was developed on Rhino SR3 and Grasshopper 0.9.
This is a very basic implementation. I am still developing more features, and working on ways to increase the speed and efficiency. In the meantime, I welcome suggestions and bug reports.

Silvia,
My first thought is that your geometry is not in the right format. It needs to be individual surfaces, not meshes or breps. If it is surfaces, try exploding it before putting it into the ray tracer.
If that doesn't work, you'll have to send me the files, and I will have a look.
Philip
Thanks for the quick reply!
Unfortunately, I don't think that's the problem, because i used your 3d file. I tried it on a simpler geometry as well, and it has the same error, even if i used only surfaces..
