algorithmic modeling for Rhino

how can you change the origin where a vector begins. I took some X and Y vectors from the vectors tool bar, but their reference point is the origin, how can i change this origin point, or reference plane?

Vectors have magnitude and direction but no locations. If you want to display a Vector in a specific place in the Rhino viewport then there is a component called Vector Display found in The Vectors Tab Vectors section of the toolbar. Click to view

I get in now thanks

Hi!

Please be aware that the component Danny is indicating only allows to "display" vectors at a specified point in space: you cannot operate on such visualized vectors.

If you want to define the starting point of a vector, there are several ways to make a vector start from a specific point with specific coordinates: the easiest one is by using the vector between two points, you can find it in the same panel, on the left of the vector display button.
