algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I created a curve with 'Bezier Span' component and moved it up. Between these two curves there was a Surface created. When trying to divide the surface (Divide Domain2 or Divide Surface) with U and V the distribution in U is uneven (no matter if the Bezier Tangent is 0-straight line or more). To compare i created a planar surface in rhino and tried dividing it with same components - this time divisions are equal.

I suppose the problem is somehow connected with how Bezier Spans are created but i wonder why does it happen that way exactly.

Below i post an image - surface on top is created with Bezier Spans, the one below in rhino.

If there was definition needed please inform me

Thanks in advance

Knots and control points of the NURBS surface must come from somewhere, in this case (of the loft) emerging from the input curves. The Bezier is a special type of curve, and its knots and control points are in its own way.
Try to make the loft  rebuilding the curves . Keep the same shape, but its internal topology change by an habitual interpolated.

Thank you for your response,

I figured out how to get the result i wanted (creating interpolated curves after dividing Bezier), but wanted to know the reason why it happens so out of curiosity.

Thanks again, have a nice day.

You can divide the domains with the same length, but if the control points are "stretched", the coordinates will be too.
