Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm trying to divide a surface very simply, with some kind of "pattern", with a firts raw that should be half the size of the others (see the image). Any clue ?

Thx

"firts raw"?  Do you intend to split the surface?  What are the parameters defining this puzzle?  Is the surface length always "(N * a) + (a/2)"?  Or does "a" get computed based on surface length?

Have you written any code that you can post?

In general, I would divide by "N * 2" and then ignore the even numbered divisions.

Yes I will split the surface.

The idea is to begin with the surface and to divide it by 5.5 or 12.5 using isotrim.

Hi.

This is one way.

Thank you !

I made it this way

Oops, too slow:

I just realized I forgot to "Internalize data" on my surface... fixed.
