Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi David,

I am on of the people who are using Grasshopper as a modeling extension and also as a great tool to get any kind of information like Lenght/Size/Area/Amount out of a 3d Model. I know this is only using a fraction of what GH can do but it works well for me.

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a hatch and a make2d component. In this way we can make our own 2d Sections and Elevations, that will update and are pretty much ready to print. Maybe you could even think about a dimension component.

Thanks, Oliver

There's a new Contours Component that might help with hatching.

And you might be able to play around with the Project Component to get some results for making 2D

theres also a make2d here:

works on "most" geometry.

And there's the Bowerbird plugin for sections and waffling.

And a hatch component in the Fabtools toolkit!
