algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi!
I'm trying to sort circular edges from a Brep, and find that, depending on how the edges were created in Rhino, GH identifies them either by "Circular Curve", or "Closed Planar Curves" (see attached).
-If I use the "Simplify curve" component on Closed Planar Curves", that will not turn them into "Circular curves" like the "SimplifyCrv" tool does in Rhino.
-If I use the "Rebuild Curve" component with degree=2 and Cp=8, I get "Periodic Planar Curves", not "Circular curves".
-If I use the "Circle Fit" component on points created with the "Divide Curve" component, I get an error message "Points could not be aggregated".
In short, I can't see why circles don't stay circles, and why it is so tough to force curves which are actually circles to be recognized as such.
Circles are kind of handy in real-world applications...
Cheers,

Ha ! Thanks Alex !
Maybe the component should have red stripes in these cases :)
