Branch number starts from {8} and not {0} problem.

Good evening,

I have a list with about 100 branches and instead of having the branch numbers {0},{1},{2},{2}...{97},{98},{99} it goes like {8},{9},{10} ... {105},{106},{107}.

How can i restore it so that it starts from branch 0?

Just use the Path Mapper component.

Use{A} as source and {A-8} as target in Editor.

Is there a more general way of reordering the branch indices? Let's say we've culled out a few in some arbitrary way and I want to rebuild them in order to be sequential: 0,1,2,3 etc..

Hello

if you use tree brunch component, there is an option renumber to use, that does exactly what you are after.

Pathmapper, Right click> Create Renumber Mapping

There's a component called Renumber Paths but it might be a Tree Sloth component.
