algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I've been using a crv motive, repeated using an rectangular array, so i get a frieze.

If i use an curve array on a circle i get this kind of results

But i'd rather get something like that (roughly made in photoshop)

Is it possible to constrain and deform a crv geometrically as i would like to do here?

Thank you very much

I've already made my suggestion, but it applies only to the surface of your red object, not "bending" a 3D shape.

superfluous addition, just for fun - color by area!

I couldnt loft curves that have 90 degres angles either

Well, this can't be what you want(?), but it does fix a couple of issues that looked like errors to me:

Note the 'BBox' error here; the union box doesn't quite get the outer edges of your pattern curves.

Thx!

I was trying to do more like this

Looks like you succeeded.  :)  Obviously the lofting warped the surface mapping; did you expect something different?

Well, the loft with no option is straight, i as expected it would do. But division doesnt work here. when using the rebuild option it works but warps it, but it seems possible to reduce the warping effect by adding more division in the count parameter.

Well, I still haven't got a clue what you expect or are trying to achieve.  Good luck.
