Thanks for the responses and examples. I actually remember now the post @ng5 recenly posted about this subject now, but could not find it readily. As for the reason I need to do this... yes I agree that once a tree needs to modified in this fashion, the writer should 'refactor'/edit their code to mitigate the issue.
The example I posted was merely a means to try and figure out how to solve this type of problem as I do find myself in this situation from time to time and occasionally I do not want to retrace my steps and refactor/edit before I can view my intended output. There could also be some other applications for this type of function as well I think.
Is anyone had an idea for make this in c# visual studio? I really need it.
