algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hey everyone!
A little stuck trying to get my model into a 3D printable format!
Im new to Grasshopper and have been playing around with it for a while now and am decently proficient with it. My problem is 3D printing one of my models (for a uni submission). Its one thing to create something unique and interesting in Grasshopper but another to replicate it in real life!
Ive attached the relevant files. I can't seem to figure out how to give the surface of the structure a thickness (2.5mm) and form a closed poly-surface which is joined to the rest of the components as one solid to print (as outlined in the 3D print guide uni has provided me). Ive created a surface around the boundary edges of each module and extruded along the normal's to each face, this works somewhat so, but if you look at the structure there are gaps between each module and some are slightly larger in height than others where as im after a smooth connection between the modules both on the interior and exterior (if possible)
If i haven't explained clearly enough please let me know
Any help at all would be appreciated!!

The GH file didn't work when I opened it... there was a problem with the Construct Mesh component.
You could probably use the Weaverbird Mesh Thicken tool to thicken this mesh. There is also a tool to add a window to each mesh face which looked like something you were trying to do.
The Wb PictureFrame doesn't work on this mesh too well because I just created it from MeshBRep and the faces are not even but if you can get a nice mesh then it should work well.
