Splitting line in ratios

Hi Guys,

You are doing an amazing job. I am quiet new to grasshopper. I am trying to create splitsin a line in ratios.

ratios of 3:1 (Y=3 and X=1). And unit length of the line is 1 and it is not going to change.

Now I would like to create splits in such a way that first split is 1/2x followed by y and then x as shown in photo. I am not quiet able to get the logic. can u guys help me.

Emm... if you know the final result of the equation and the relationship between the two variables, you can calculate your values... This serves you? Or it is too "primitive"?

Sorry for the late reply.. But thank you so much.. I would like to control the number of splits while maintaing the ratio.. I am not able to figure that out.
