algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I am trying to create a halftone pattern for a facade and am having a problem arraying the pattern in the X direction. Hopefully this is a quick fix!

basically I have a series of circles in the Y direction(above) and I want to array them in the X direction.

I tried to array the series of dots in the Y direction by moving them in a series, but instead of moving the entire group in increments, each dot is moved incrementally(see below).

How do I group the dots so that I can apply the series to the entire group?
I figure this has to do with tree structure but I'm not too familiar with it to figure it out.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have attached the rhino and ghx files

In this case you wouldn't need to use trees, but you would want to make sure to flatten your data. To create a point grid I used the RecGrid component.

Thanks a lot Taz!
I have another question. Is it possible to have those dot's angled like in the following picture? I'tried to figure this out but since I'm a newbie with GH I didn't manage to figure out the solution to my problem. Any ideas how to realize this pattern?

Thanks in advanced!

You could either start with a double-density rectangular grid, then remove all odd points from one column and all even ones from the next (then repeat). Or you could start with a triangular grid component.

Thats how far I have managed to get. Looks good but the problem is that when I bake it I get duplicates of the circles. I know that the problem is the EndPoints component, but I can't figure out what other component to use. Any good ideas?
