Hey! I'm trying to re-create an image, but have a difficult time doing it. I'm guessing i should create a 2d grid with deformed hexagons, but i could use a little help.

Hi Lidia,

Just spotted that one: I can provide a def that does this but it's solely via C# code. Notify if you think that such an approach could be useful to you.

It works on any open/closed surface List (not on polysurfaces, mind) and accepts any number of attractors (in push/pull mode). Spot the unroll "auto" layout (optional).

this is awesome! could you send it to me? Thanks a lot!!

Yes of course ... as soon as "these" (+ some other "bits") become a workstation (home "experimental" sector shown). The ugly gray case (background) is an old H/P XW something > transplant to an Obsidian proper case (+ lot's of modifications: nothing fits properly).

more soon

"Progress" is made (i.e. the black thing "works", kinda that is). Get the stuff promised ... but it's a bit complex to manage it if you are not familiar with C#. Has the usual options as well that make life even more difficult.

he, he

Suggestion: play with the test cases provided BEFORE attempting to use your own data.

And the Rhino file (Load it first, no internalized stuff around). I mean ... the file ... if the attachment was possible (it's not, as usual).

I'll try later

2nd time lucky?
