algorithmic modeling for Rhino

random curve center

Hi everyone !

I'm trying to place a random closed curve on each point of a grid in the same way as the circles on the screenshot but i don't find the way to do it, by searching i only found how to determinate the center of this curve but not the way to place it on its center. sorry if the question is not clear enought.

Hello Erle,

you can use vector 2pt, with start point the centroid of your curve and end point the grid points. then move the curve using the previous vectors. this will make multiple curves like the initial all over the grid points.
