Problem with curve offset in both direcctions

Hello. I have a problem making an offset curve in both directions. I have two offsets connected to the same slider, but in one of the offsets introduce the expression "D" to do the offset in the opposite direction but with the same magnitude. The problem is that grasshopper does not recognize that term, and I have seen it on video function. which may be the problem?

Your expression modifier is likely bad, and should look like this, with -x:

Or you could just multiply by -1 instead, using the Multiplication component.
