algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Can you upload a file with the data going in and describe the data you'd like to see go out?
I want to omit the numbers shown in panel in a way that distances between numbers would be at least 18, untill the copied squares dont mix togeather.
I'm still a bit confused. You have a list of increasing numbers (are they always increasing?) and you want to remove from that list all numbers which are closer than X to any other number in the list? Or do you want iteratively remove the closest pairs until the minimum distance is more than X? Or do you want to remove all numbers which are closer than X to the first number, then move on to the next surviving number?
From your image it seems you want to remove those rectangles that overlap. But which ones should be removed? The smallest possible number of rectangles? All overlapping rectangles?
At any rate, I attached three different approaches using C# scripts.
thanks a lot. but unfortunately I cant make it work. I really appreciate if u can take a look at my files(I attach now) again.
excuse me for my incomplete description. actually I want to remove overlapped rectangles, to have a spectral movement . so I think I should remove from that list all numbers which are closer than X to any other number in the list. or may be moving is not a good solution and I should make that image with another command
