Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey guys!

I'm trying to stop the kinect through a script but it's not very fast. Indeed, I need to stop the kinect because my script is very heavy and I need to refresh when I finish some task. The best way will be to get an access to the play button...

So I used a VB script I found on grasshopper to stop refreshing. The thing is that there is a delay between the moment asked and what I got on my computer...

Have you got any ideas?

Cheers!

I actually could use something like this as well if anyone can help that would be great!

Best,

Aaron

If I understand correctly... what you're looking for is a start/stop input to the Kinect (video stream component)?  Is that correct?  Are you working with Kinect V1 or V2?  It probably wouldn't be too difficult to add a new input to override the pause button that shows up on the window display.  I'll look into it.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Andy, have you managed to integrate this? It would be good for us too.

Yes I did!

I used a VB component I found on this discussion :

All you have to do is to set up a counter of how many iteration you need to make the VB statement true for stopping your script!
