Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi

I am new to grasshopper and attempting to array a 2d image that i modelled in grasshopper into a grid. Then i want to set an attractor point so that when i move this point the grid will change, so the closer to the point the size of each individual shape in the grid will change (as seen in the image below)

I have managed to find a way to array my 2d geometry into a grid, however i cant manage to get the attractor point part working. I think this may be because of the way the 2d geometry is modelled, but i dont know how to fix it. Im open to remodelling the original 2d geometry, but the problem is nothing i have tried has yet worked. I have attached my grasshopper file (apologies for it being a very messy definition, as i said im new to grasshopper and my understanding of it isnt great yet) and would appreciate any help that anyone could give me. Thanks

Get 2 cases (a bit complex as regards the amount of choices, mind) that I've made for a friend.

The first gets an image and drills holes in any (untrimmed) surface: since GH can't memorize a thing or two connect your image sampler as follows:

The second is a generic example upon creating circles (could be anything) affected by attractors (push/pull) on grids and/or surfaces

In both cases load Rhino file first (pay attention to gates/filters that redirect flow)

best, Peter

And here's the second case (gates/filters in yellow control flow)
