algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Andreas,
you should first read here http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/how-to-get-help-when-you-...
Points 3, 5(maybe?) and 7 mainly...
You have just post here a picture... Can you at least upload the geometries? Otherwise who will work will have to create something manually that could not apply well to your curves...
Have you at least tried something in GH? Can you post it here or describe it?
Do you have any ideas of how to build up your idea?
(again, point 7)
I'm noone to scold you, but I think that if you understand you should get a more handy use of the forum, as David Rutten said in his post (^above linked).
This said...
I suggest you to simply extrude your shapes to a circle midway between them three, and do boolean solid union to get a single polysurface/brep.
Then remove caps and try to continue as you can see in the first video here:
http://www.grasshopper3d.com/profiles/blogs/dynamic-remeshing-now-w...
You have to follow that page for downloads and stuff...
The final output will be a mesh.
You're lucky Daniel Piker shared that monster definition.
I'm sorry for the actings.
I wasn't here for a long time and have forgotten the rules.
Thanks for your answer and the hint.
I will try it.
You don't have to apologize.
I'm not a mod or such XD
Just I don't like to see an empty discussion in any forum, an unanswered question...
So I just throw something inside :P
I'll try it too.
But what you've told/showed me, helped me alot ^^
My main problem was that i wanted to create an Brep from three intersected Breps, which was created from loftesd closed curves. So i tried to split the lofts in sections and wanted to build an extra surfaces from where the intersections are.
Your solution helped me. I could merge the extruded Breps and make e mesh an use the meshmachine. Thanks alot.
But is there a possibility to Union these Breps? If no, why?
Heavy stuff!
You got roughly 30k (heavy) points, use loft(heavy) and now you want to do a solid union (very heavy)...
Heavy x heavy x very heavy = minutes of calculations
I don't know why brep union fail. Sorry.
Breps are probably very complex, as you stated, and the more complex a brep is, the easier to fail a solid union.
Do you need to do this process often?
For this kind of operation maybe GH is not the best...
Just make 3 mesh and union them manually in rhino...
Yeah Breps and i aren't friends.
I have often this problem so i had to change my recent structures :P
