Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everybody,

I've been trying for a couple of days now to redraw a map I've seen online. As you can see, what it does is create a mesh or a surface with "bobbles" where the size of that "bobble" is proportional to de population living in that place.

Anybody any clue how I could get something similar?

Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, I give up on this.

Hello Jose,

one approach could be using grasshopper and inflate each mesh (describing a region) according to its population.

cheers

Hey Alex,

the thing is I'm aiming to achieve an effect as it is one single mesh inflated or held back depending on the population on the different points... I don't come up with a solution for one single mesh behaving that way and not many different meshes instead...

thanks
