Problem with Karamba Download

Hello,

I am having trouble with getting the license to work, it states that it is unable to find a suitable version of karamba. Also there is a pinvoke error that pops up too. I tried all of the trouble shooting listed in the manual but cannot seem to get it to work. If you could help that would be great

Hello Kristin,

could you please check whether the files 'karamba.dll' and 'libiomp5md.dll' exist in 'C:\Windows' and whether they are unblocked?

Do you use the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of Karamba?

Could you send me a screen-shot of the error message?

I do not have a karamba.dll or libiomp5md.dll file anywhere.

I use the 64-bit version since I have the 64-bit of Rhino 5.

Try to install Karamba as an administrator. Then 'karamba.dll' and 'libiomp5md.dll' should show up. Best, C.

I tried reinstalling it and I still don't have either of those files.

Does the folder 'C:\Windows' exist on your computer? Do you have access to another computer where you can install Karamba and then copy and paste the two files? C.

I got both of the files from someone else and it still does not work. does the grasshopper file and the folders need to be the C:\Windows folder? Because right now the grasshopper file and the folders are the the special components folder in grasshopper?
