algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Well friends
That's a small (WIP - no space frame code included) "introductory" to Geodomes. They may appear "simple" but they pose some serous challenge(s) especially when going from the abstract "wire" state/sketch to something realistic for AEC purposes (that's include a robust block management for exporting node related data to MCAD apps in some "structured" assembly/component way etc etc).
As usual no meshes around blah, blah.
So far the main code (not included) is going "well" (not exactly, but let's pretend so, he he):
PS: by not exactly I mean delicate "situations" like this @%$@ elliptical option (Yikes):
Anyway ... get this intro for the moment. More stuff (and the main thing) soon. You can't do many things but it's better from nothing, he he.
best, Peter

Nice, I will have a proper look when I have time.
Useful outputs you might be able to (easily?) generate are...
a list of unique node geometries
node identification
...often useful if you want to construct the domes.
