algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Need Help - Reading a audio file
Hello,
I am trying to read an audio file in GH. Even though read file item reads the file ,it gives a string output with full of "?"s. Can I have the output with some processable dat, i.e. amplitudes vs time. Or how can i convert it? I tried with both mp3 and wav files but i failed.

I do not think the readfile component reads mp3s or wav files just yet. You would have to convert the audio file to some text or graphic representation...you could also stream it into gh.

Mp3 might be a little tricky but GH should be able to read wav files soon. I will try turning the audio file to into a graphic representation.
