Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello! I'm really new with grasshopper, so please have mercy with me...
I have a collection of 3D objects that come from a grid (like pannels of a façade) and I would like to asociate to them, in a random way, a collection of 5 colours. I've found a past discussion very similar to my problem (here) but it uses a list of "texted colours".
In my case I'd like to pre-choose 5 RGB colours, an associate them in a ramdom way to these 3D objects.

Thank you!

Hi Hannes, sorry for the late answer (holidays stuff...) Thank you!

I'm trying to use your option, but I'm having some problems with the "list length" step.

My façade is generated combining the "domain box" with a "rectangular grid", so I can easily change all the different lengths.

When I try to use your answer to give every box a random color, I get a random color, but for each row of the grid, not for each box. I think It's related to the "list length" step, but I'm not sure.

Why does this happen? why the dashed line?

Can you please help me again?

These are two possible approaches, one using a List Item method the Other a Replace Paths method.

Hi Danny, sorry for the late answer. Thank you! I haven't been able to use your aoption with my problem. I'm not very able to follow it. As with Hanses option, I´m having some issues with the "list length" step...
