algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everybody,

I'm a complete newbie to Rhino and GH...so I appologize in advance if I annoy you with basic stuff here. But allready my first attempt to work on a frame for sunglasses doesn't work!

I'm trying to loft over three moved/offseted curves which arise from the edges of the lense.

In Rhino it worked without any trouble (as u can see in the pic)....but GH doesn't include the upper curve into the loft...and there is probably a good reason??!! I just don't know what I did wrong! :-{

Thanx for any hint!!

wishing you all a great weekend and still...Happy New Year! :-)

In the first input of the Loft, right click> Flatten

thanx Daniel!

that works if I "close" the loft in the loft options...but I would like to keep the bottom open. Then the result looks like this:How do I change the "order" in which curves are used in the loft??! Sorry, that's very basic stuff I guess!? ;-)

You need to reintroduce the curves in the right order. You can use the merge component with inputs flattened for see better.

that worked! :-)

THANX!!

not sure yet if I understand what the problem was...but will read now about Flattening and Grafting! :-)
