Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have a project where I need to take a 3D mesh file and output a view as a 2D vector file, pdf, svg, ai, dwg, to be used for vector etching of lines with a laser. I want the faces in the mesh to be opaque, so I can not see through the faces.

Any help with that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

if it is your end result, Bake it from grasshopper then just use rhinos "make 2d" command.

If you want a 2D outline of a mesh try  meshoutlines, see

You could rotate mesh in order to have different view (here rotation uses an icosaedron)
