algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Good evening people,

I have an issue when i try to split many surfaces with many curves. Problem is the curves from different surfaces seem to project to the rest of the surfaces and making multiple holes. I only want to cut my surfaces with the curves that are on them.

Hello

this could be one way

you need to data match the surfaces with the curves. this solution is for this case only. if you want a more general solution, then one could be to find the z position of the curves and sort them in lists accordingly and then find the closest surface to trim. it can become complex if the surfaces and curves are just in a list.

cheers

*or find the intersection events before splitting the surfaces like Raul suggests (nice solution)

hi there,

for this setup:

i have this solution:

Dont forget to graft the "Crv" component.

oh, this was intersection...

But for the same setup it works for me:

Cheers,

Here is a method for a set of random ordered surfaces intersecting some random ordered curves

Thanks everyone and especially Danny. That did the trick.
