Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I found this brought up before, but was unable to apply it to my own work. I suspect the lack of sleep isn't helping...

I have a list of 19 curves. I have sorted them into a list from shortest to longest, and have applied a slider to allow me to remove "x" number of them starting from the lowest and highest ends. However, I need to turn this into an actual cull of the curves - right now they're just remaining as a list of lengths. Help?

Thanks

Plug the curves into the bottom input of the sort component while the lengths are plugged into the top input. Use the bottom output of the sort component for the culling.

Wonderful - thanks Michael!

Hi Michael,

In trying to merge a bunch of co-planar section contours, they don't seem to want to come together into single unions. I've tried a few different work-arounds with no luck. Any recommendations?

From the outputted lines I created a series of pipes around them, big enough to merge/overlap, then took planar sections through all of them... no idea why I cant get them to create overall forms. I was trying to get them to become a set of smooth, "tangent-ized" lines around their collective perimeters in each plane...

Cheers
