algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Does Karamba able to calculate a reciprocal system like below.
I´m trying but it´s not working...
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Dear Kibito,
you have to introduce nodes where elements are supposed to connect.
You could use hinges or springs to make the behavior of the connections more realistic - otherwise the connections are rigid.
Best,
Clemens
Thanks for helping.
Now I have the same reciprocal pattern but continuous.
I think that the structure should have a different behaviour.
Perhaps something about that hinges or springs you said. I tried to applicate it to the nodes but I´m not sure about the ressults.
Even it´s possible that it´s working fine...
Any idea?
start your investigation with a geometry as simple as possible (e.g. one cell). This makes it easier to understand and test the behavior of the statical system. You can download the Karamba manual from http://www.karamba3d.com/downloads/ which contanis details regarding springs and hinges.
Best,
Clemens
yeah, It works.
Now I think that I found a bug. Because I´ve a huge definition (almost only karamba components) and while I`m working on it something happens and the information turns corrupted and I´ve to enable/disable something or moving a slider... I happens all the time. Is not a big thing but it´s quite disturbing..
do you have a definition where the problem can be reliably reproduced and which you could send me?
Best,
Clemens
Solved. The origin of the problem was into a Geometry Pipeline component selecting Breps. Now i´m using only meshes and streams fine.
Dear Kibito,
Can you please upload your final definition. The problem interests me.
Thanks
