algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I am curious if there was a way to create intelligent panels in gh similar to Revit families, with different configurations and 'materials' applied to them. I don't really have much to show as I've just begun exploring this topic, but if anyone has any ideas that would be a great help!

May I ask a bigger question? What's your motivation for doing this in Rhino/GH rather than Revit? Is this just a test case? Because with this type of orthogonal geometry, I'd do it all in Revit.
Should the panels be able to pass the mirror test?
I actually managed to solve the shifted list issue, it was simply a matter of sorting my surfaces before i put it into the list item.

The purpose of this is for me to hopefully remove Revit from my workflow, only because Revit seems to be a bit much for what I actually need to produce and rhino/gh has a lot more freedom, also i do a lot of analysis in gh so I'd like to have all of my work done with one model in one program. also there are frequent changes to my model so i need the parametric flexibility gh offers.

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but in this case there was no reason those panels should have been out of order, so it needed to be solved.
Hopefully I'll have a decent script to post back along with some images, thanks again guys!

I won't dwell on it, but I think you might be reinventing the wheel here, unless the form of your building or the panelization scheme gets much more complicated. We've worked between Revit and Rhino+GH quite effectively, using the strengths of both programs to our advantage.
