Hi Kristoffer,

1. If you like to create them surface by surface then you are on the right track. You can use Honeybee_createHBZones to create a thermalZone out of this surfaces with the current data.

2. You can use Mass2Zone component and then change the materials for each type (e.g. walls, windows, etc).
