algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi Omid,
I am not able to download your rhino files.
Best,
Yousef
Hi Yousef,
Sorry for inconvenience, must be a file size problem. Please give me your email. I will email it to you directly.
Best,
Omid
Hi Yousef,
could you please try to reduce the number of elements in your definition and internalize the Rhino geometry? This would make it much easier to find the problem.
Best,
Clemens
Hi Omid, Hi clemens,
Clemens, I think you meant "Hi Omid".
Omid, I can send you a private message only when you accept my friend request. I will then send you my e-mail.
Best,
Yousef
Hi omid,
I am attaching the definition. I changed the tolerance in the LDlist of the mesh to shell component and in the Assemble component. Also, you had applied the cross section and the material to a shell identified by "Recshell" but your shell was identified by "shell". I removed the identifiers for the material and the section as you have only one element in your model (however, you can still identify them, but make sure you have the names correctly). I think it's working well now.
Hi Yousef,
Thank you very much. Sorry for the huge size of the mesh, it came out of a cumbersome FEM form finding process in which I had to use a fine mesh to correctly do the form finding.
I checked the model. You are right about the identifiers it was a mistake since I used chunks of code from my archive.
It sounds like Karamba is analyzing the model but the output is kind of suspicious and also the "Force flow line" component is still not accepting the inputs. It is important for me to get the force flow lines or principal stress lines out of this analysis. Did you get the chance to work on that ?
