algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone!

I'm finding it hard to map a patterned surface in rhino with revolve. I attach an image of the surface and mapping. the problems are:
1 - is mapped to hurt the surface, depends on what?
2 - I would like to connect the lines with a curve, upload a picture to explain what I would get
I submit that the logarithm is another reviewer wrote not only to me also because it is the first work that I do with grasshopper.
Also attach an image to your components.

That logic does not work because I think you need to first have the unrolled surface and this shape seems no unrolleable.

This is the way, mapped depend of UV points, both surfaces must be the same size or the same proportion will need reparametrice surfaces.

But you could make something like this.

Hello Daniel, thank you for responding. Reading what you wrote you reminded me of the first attempt (reading and looking at the tutorial) for the mapping of the area actually was fine but then I created the offset of the problems on the surface. I'll leave you two pictures where you can see the problem, do you have any Suggestion? The offset always gives me error, as you can see, the lines offset also come out from the surface, and some of the lines of the voronoi does not apply the offset! (I read your tutorial, it is very interesting and exhaustive!) Thank you for your attention! :-)

Offsets fails many times.. i think it depends of the type of surface and its curvature.

You could do that ... If you want to do in 3d, rescaled shape and connect their holes and join all. 

If your intention is to make it organic, you need to smooth it with weaverbird plugin, but will be very polygonal. If you want more round holes do you need other method, building the mesh (there are examples in this forum); or spend all this stuff and use Meshmachine and cytoskeleton components.
