algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Dear Colleagues,
Can you please suggest on the application for the design of single-walled grasshopper lattice shells of steel tubes?
Can anyone have an example of a grasshopper in the formation of the bolt assembly for these shells?
Here are examples of eating but little wrong.

Oops ... Mero stuff shown or what?
1. Are you asking ways to design AND validate (*) trusses (in abstract form = lines) and ...
2. Then adding real life components (like the Mero system shown?).
If yes ... I'm doing this these days ... but other Projects emerged and the whole C# thing is postponed (I do hope not for ever).
See this as well :

Good news: as regards 1 get a paranoid collection of C# scripts that don't make much sense especially the weird one that finds branches on a per path dimension to next dimension basis (they'll do some day, he he).
Bad news: as regards 2 ... erm ... learn CATIA/SiemensNX.
(*) = clash detection, drilling axis, assembly/component structures, BoM, FEA etc etc
best, Peter
Thank you very much for your answers, Peter!!!
they are very useful !!!
Pah! ... we all live in a yellow submarine my friend, he he
Get the usual update (more stuff, less sense = happiness). As you can see we can do whatever panel Lanchbox does quite easily - it just connects surf subdivision points according some logic.
best, Peter
