Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everybody! I'm new in the community, I'm an architecture student and I was wondering if it is possible to learn to use Grasshopper alone. I'm open to all your suggestion,

thank you very much!

By this do you mean self taught? With the internet you are never alone. There are some videos posted from David as introductions to gh. Start there and then see where it takes you.

Course. Grasshopper seems difficult at first but once you learn the basics and its components, is much more intuitive than conventional 3D software, at least for me, that I am also pure autodidact.
You Absorb tutorials and experience for yourself, and if you enjoy working with geometry and data, you'll see how fast you create really interesting things!

Thank you very very much!

Come to this forum often, look up examples and use the search bar...often people will have had the same or similar problem, but also don't be afraid to ask questions. David Rutten has an excellent post for how to ask which also indirectly defines an excellent pedagogy: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/how-to-get-help-when-you-...

It's not so easy, but with passion and interest (and this forum) it is possible.

Did you already downloaded the primer? It's a little bit old but most of it isn't outdated yet. For me it was a good start. Also, the videos by David on Vimeo are great.
