How to slow down the GH movement respective to Arduino instant reading change?

Hi, I used Firefly to connect the Arduino human sensor reading into Grasshopper.

When there is a reading (ie human sensor detected a real object movement), a 1.5m x 1.5m x 1.5m mesh box in rhino will move up 2m. When the real object left, the mesh box will return to the original position.

The problem is, as the human sensor reading went from 0 to maximum (688 in my case) instantly. The mesh box showed an instant change of position, instead an "elevating motion" which human eye can observe.

May I know how can I slow down the mesh box movement? (like about 2 seconds for the mesh box to move up 2m, instead of instant change of position)

The latest release has a component called Smooth Numbers, it may do what you want.

However how to control the smooth quantity?

I'm now using more than one "smooth number", is there any precious way to adjust?

What is a smooth quantity? Whenever different numbers are supplied to the smooth component, it'll start moving towards those numbers within a specific timeframe. It can handle individual numbers, lists of numbers and trees of numbers. If the 'topology' of the number data changes, the change is abrupt rather than smooth.
